Chicago, Illinois, USA

this is our last day in chicago. don't have much time to blog. in the chicago public library now. chop chop notes.

train from denver got delayed by 17hrs. first by flooding in nebraska then electrical thunderstorm in iowa. reached chicago at 1130am on saturday morning. made a complaint that due to delay friend from chicago whom i'm supposed to stay with was now in detroit attending a wedding, back only sunday. got a free complimentary room at a downtown hotel(travelodge - worth $100!) as compensation.

met joe. hugz. he's staying with a romanian couple sorin and alina.

tour chicago the next two days. grant park navy pier john hancock sears magnificent mile loop most things in downtown we've walked twice over.

night before went to swanky club called excalibur. really swanky. i like. music's good and we got free entry from a brochure i found. got chat up by an ah-neh studying here. joe pukes after a bottle and a half of corona. we leave.

no enough public toilets in the city here. we have to pretend we're occupants of the hotels whose toilets we wanan use. not too hard to do that though. hilton marriot westin we've all tried their toilets liao.

nothing is free in chicago. just so you'd all know.

but i like this place. city life is super uber vibrant. night life is lagi vibrant and evrything here's so on-the-move. i love it.

oops, joe caught me blogging. he says hi to everyone.

buffalo, new york next. leaving today.
