Behind Every Singapore Son, Is A Maid?

So pictures this:

An NSman is in the jungle slowly creeping behind some bushes with his full camo on...he is thirsty! A waterbottle is passed to him... He creeps silently further... He has sweat on his face! A hand holding a hello kitty towel appears to wipe his sweat away... He sees his target! He signals for his rifle to be passed to him... Then camera zooms out a there is a maid in civilian clothes right beside him carrying his fullpack, waterbottles and rifle... WTF -_-"

Asians in the Library

This is one of the video responses to that racist rant by an Alexandra Wallace about Asians in UCLA libraries.

Absolutely hilarious!

In fact there're quite a few more out there if you bothered searching.

There's also a very nice Ching Chong Ling Long Ting Tong song too!

The Curious Case Of Michael Carrick II

Another view supporting Carrick.

Although comparing him to Xavi is abit extreme IMHO.

Read it here.

The Curious Case Of Michael Carrick

This article really changed my mind about the guy.

No wonder he got a new contract when everyone thought he was shite.

I guess we fans usually only see what we want to see on the field.

Go Carrick!

Read this and weep.

Chelski Quarts

Meeting Chelsea in the quarterfinals of the Champioms League.

I think we should beat them.

Then we meet Inter Milan, who will beat Shalke, where we will win.

Finally we will meet Barcelona whom we will beat with some luck.

Glory, glory Man United!

Carnage

Continues.

Now we worry about nuclear meltdown.

Sigh.

Nikkei down another 10% after yesterday's 6%.

Are we lining up towards the end of the world in December 2012?

No one cares about the unrest in the Middle East anymore.

When It Rains, It Pours

9.0 earthquake (upgraded).

Tsunami.

Nuclear plant meltdown.

Volcano eruption.

All at the end of winter.

Have to seriously respect the Japanese. Hardly any chaos amongst it's people. No looting, no panic, no riot. Just an orderly stoic persistence not to get beaten down. This is the true spirit of never say die.

You might not read it in the news, but millions of lives were saved in this catastrophe, due to brilliant engineering, competent governance, and sheer resilience and togetherness of a single nation.

Jiayouz.

Short JPY & Nikkei

The devastation in Japan is just getting more and more heartbreaking as the catastrophes pile up. From earthquake, to tsunami, to nuclear spill, to aftershocks...it is trully saddening.

Our hearts go out to those suffering over there.

This damage is going to go into the tens of billions in expense.

The JPY and Nikkei are due to suffer tremendously next week.

FA Cup Semis

Shot down Arsenal at OT with a 2-0 win last night.

SAF started the game with 7 defenders, haha.

We actually have another chance of the treble this season.

Glory glory Man United!

Japan

8.9 on the Richter scale is really not funny.

Our hearts go out to everyone there.

Be safe please.

Shoppes @ MBS

It's huge!

And full of atas brands.

Made it.

So we went there for lunch recently. Ate at this atas French restaurant called DB Bistro Moderne. You would think any restaurant serving set lunch at $45++ would be empty. WRONG! It was bloody crowded!

Singaporeans must be getting richer.

Seriously.

Don't even know where the crowd came from, though the food is excellent!

Third Loss Of The Season

Sigh.

I must be getting numb.

Last night 1-3 loss to Liverpool didn't seem to hurt as much as I thought it would.

Maybe its because of the news blackout by Man U?

We'll still win the league this season.

2nd Loss Of The Season

1-2 to Chelsea.

That sucks man. Though maybe not as sucky as the loss to Wolves, but still. And we lost Vidic for this weekend's game against Liverpool.

Cui.

Well the only positive is that Chelsea is still 12 points away so they're not much of a threat.

Arsenal must be smiling though. They are the biggest winners of this match. Hope they lose their next few BPL matches.
