Spent a week in Copenhagen for work.
It’s been almost five years since I’ve been there.
Here are my ten best pictures from the trip.

Had the chance to go on a really good golf trip in Vung Tau, Vietnam.
Vung Tau is a beach resort town not too dissimilar to Da Nang, about two hours south of Ho Chi Minh City so we flew into HCM, spent two nights in Vung Tau, and one night in HCM.
Vietnam is one of the nicest places in SEA to visit for sure, the people are nice and everything is so cheap!
First game was at a world class resort called The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip and the second game was at another called Sonadezi Chau Duc.
Really great fun with the brotherhood.
Oh and when in Vietnam, please make sure to try 4P Pizza. It’s available in many major cities in Vietnam and it might be the best pizza you’ll ever have!
Had the honour to not only meet but be coached by a real professional golf player.
She’s such a nice, friendly and humble girl.
I’m a fan now and hope she goes on to become famous.
She’s already had 10 pro tour wins under her belt.
Anyway she said I really needed to utilize my waist more. It might need a very big overhaul in my swing but I’d get 50 yards extra for every iron and driver if I did.
Inspired to hit the range and try liao.
I’m star struck.
We played Warren Golf and Country Club recently.
There were a series of holes where these majestic and beautiful giant iguanas roam freely and laze around in the sun.
Was really eye catching and beautiful.
Was back in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur over a mid July weekend for an important family reunion.
On Thursday when I arrived in the evening, had dinner and then durians with Ah Fai and his family. Always good catching up with him and Jinnie. This guy never fails to take care of me whenever I’m here, from offering to fetch me from KLIA, to actually fetching me from my hotel, to dragging his wife and kids to have dinner with me, then have durians, then send me back to my hotel doorstep. Really appreciate all this from him.
Friday we were hosted by Auntie Lorraine and husband Uncle Gerard, both of whole flew up from Sydney, Australia, where we had dinner at a nice Chinese restaurant close by. I met up with cousin Justin and his wife Joanne for the first time in eons. His parents Auntie Lina and Uncle Joe were really happy to see me. It’s been many many years since I last saw them. Also present were Uncle Ben, Ah Fai’s dad. Then we had Uncle Jason, Uncle Danny and his daughter Ying Hui. My parents were there too. I think everyone was happy to see them and their eldest son, me. Haha. Dinner was not bad but there were beers so the food didn’t make much of an impression. At the end of dinner Auntie Lorraine and husband were stuck with me for half an hour outside the Atria Gallery shopping mall because both our mobile telco signals were down!
Saturday was my dad’s birthday! We had dinner at another restaurant that was in Subang Jaya, roughly an hour from Petaling Jaya. There were most of Friday’s attendees PLUS Jonathan and his family (wife Regina and daughter Adriana, his son Jon Jr wasn’t there). Also making their first appearance was Auntie Doris and husband Uncle Khaw with sons Yew Tong, Yew Meng and wife Phoebe, and Yew Onn. Again food was so so, with beers being the bigger highlight. We also celebrated my dad’s birthday with cake and song! It was nice to celebrate his 75th birthday with so many family members, although I think he would’ve preferred to celebrate it in more exclusivity and with just those dear to him, maybe my siblings and my kids :P
Sunday was the big one that we have all gathered for. It was Auntie Doris’ birthday and first thing in the morning I was out playing 9 holes of golf at this golf club called The Club, together with Uncle Khaw, his second son Yew Meng, and Meng’s wife, Phoebe. I thought I played ok-ish. Then it was lunch with the whole Khaw family. Got a chance to see Uncle Khaw and Auntie Doris’ house. Lunch was at a dim sum restaurant and it was great.
That evening, we had a private room dinner also at a restaurant in The Club, and almost everyone who was family was there! We had nice birthday decorations, karaoke, and a lot of alcohol. The uncles and aunties were dancing to oldies, my dad was having quite a lot of fun, everyone was having their turn on the microphone. It was such a blast.
Finally Monday I was trying to buy cheap stuff from the Paradigm Mall supermarket and bringing it back home for wifey and the kids.
All in what an awesome trip it was to see fam bam.
Here’re some random pictures from the trip.
Its been so long since I last golfed.
Managed to sneak out for a game with Eugene, Victor and Mark.
Marina Bay Golf Course has always been a forgiving place to play, as long as you stay out of the bunkers!
I actually hit really well and scored a 97!
How lucky was that!
Wonder if I will find time for golf again now that Covid is over and work is really getting super busy!
This was another trip with Wenda and Jinglong in mid June.
It was another 'brudders' golf trip, one that we've done a few times already and this is our second time playing golf in Vietnam. Our 2019 trip was documented here.
4 days, 3 nights, 2 rounds of golf, lotsa beers, one helluva good time.
This time round our first round of golf was once more at Long Thanh Golf Course, where I hit a 108. The second round was at West Lake Golf & Villas, where I hit a 107.
Had a lot of pho too!
It was good to travel with the bros after the pandemic hiatus.
