My 3 Month Break

Last night concluded 4 nights of consecutive drinking and hard partying. We went to Dragonfly followed by Velvet. Its been such a long time since I last went there. Still don't really like the place, but the company was good and we tried a new plum vodka drink which was really cool!

Anyway that will hopefully be the last of my hardcore partying for the next 3 months at least when baby joins our family! Gotta start making more time for family liaoz! Can't wait!

Just retwisted my knee just now at soccer. Xianz. Think I should be out of the game for awhile at least.

My Date With Francis Flynn

Had the priviledge of spending half a day being coached by him on decision making and organizational behaviour. This is one very interesting and intriguing man. Totally enjoyed his simple lecture. There is much to take away from him and his little stint in Singapore.

Oh, I still haven't replaced my phone yet. Decided to buy a lousy brick Blackberry from the office for $30.

Man U drew with Fulham last night and it felt really sucky even till now because we were leading 2-1, gained a penalty, only to see Nani's effort saved in the 86th min and then Fulham scored in the dying minutes to tie the match. Crap shite.

Lost Handphone

Darn. Lost my personal handphone last Thursday.

Can't even replace my phone till tomorrow at the earliest.

Sigh.

Spent the whole weekend working at Invest Fair 2010.

YOG Hockey - Singapore Vs Belgium

We went to the stadium after work only to be told that tickets were sold out! I was SO upset. Wanted to take pictures of the empty stadium and send it to Stomp.sg! So I fumed all the way to Mcdonalds for dinner with wifey.

After dinner, we decided to give it one more try. And lo'n'behold, the encik ticket guy was really nice and told us to wait, he try to get us in for free. So nice!!!

So we got in for free! There weren't that many people, like maybe 800 people at best, so obviously they could do with one damn loud Singaporean supporter! And I think I was the only one shouting for Singapore! Shout until throat sore lor!

In the end Singapore lost 1-7. I think we tired at the end. We let in 3 goals in the final 5 mins. But still, against a pretty good opponent, our boys did put in good effort lah.

We had a great time!!! Whooot!!

Caught the first game of the season. Tottenham v Man City which ended 0-0. Was quite a good match though.

Oh and its the opening of the Youth Olympic Games! Go Singapore!

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Its Singapore's birthday today! And we're going over to my mum's to watch the NDP. Quite excited about watching this year's mobile column (its quite dua zhong because it happens only once every 5 years or so). Oh and we saw the fireworks two weeks ago during one of the previews.

Man U won the Charity Shield by defeating Chelsea 3-1 last night. Quite glad that 'the chicharito', Javier Hernandez scored , abeit in quite a funny way. Berbatov squared the ball to him in the box and he kicked the ball so awkwardly that it smashed his face and went into the goal! Haha, funny but we'll take it any day. I have high hopes that we will do pretty well this season. Plus the new jersey looks quite nice.

Came back from Mission Hills yesterday. Shot a 109 on Els course and 112 on the Olazabal course. Not too bad, but its time to improve my tee offs. Enough of teeing off with a 3 wood. And add my 9 iron to the bag.

Getting ready for baby soon! Time to fix up his cot and cupboard!
