When It Rains, It Pours

9.0 earthquake (upgraded).

Tsunami.

Nuclear plant meltdown.

Volcano eruption.

All at the end of winter.

Have to seriously respect the Japanese. Hardly any chaos amongst it's people. No looting, no panic, no riot. Just an orderly stoic persistence not to get beaten down. This is the true spirit of never say die.

You might not read it in the news, but millions of lives were saved in this catastrophe, due to brilliant engineering, competent governance, and sheer resilience and togetherness of a single nation.

Jiayouz.
