Sunderland 1 Manchester United 1

Oh well, and so the season ends. Finally.

Already looking forward to next season.

1) A Dead Rubber
Given that we needed Aston Villa to beat Tottenham at White Hart Lane, one could almost assume that the 7th placing was a given unless a miracle happened. So when Spurs went up 3-0 inside the first half, I guess the players themselves also couldn't be bothered anymore. Southampton also had nothing to play for given that they had cemented 8th place.

2) Were The Ones Leaving Putting On A Show?
Everyone was so lousy, that my player of the match was probably Vidic. Alongside Evra and Rio, I guess Giggsy felt sentimental and let them have a start. They really arn't good enough anymore. Can't wait for Luke Shaw to replace Evra, as much as I think Evra gets United. We also need a really good CB to replace Vidic, so Rio might stay around for one more season who knows? Carrick also needs to go. Yet Cleverley, Fellaini or Fletcher are not the answer. Kagawa and Mata will hopefully stay on. Ashley Young will hopefully be sold. Nani and Valencia can stay on in my books, although with Januzaj, there is only one wing to fight for.

3) No One Wants To Get Hurt
With Rio 2014 around the corner, it looked like no one wanted to really exert themselves, for nothing. So that's understandable, but still you'd have hoped that the players would have generated a better feast for the eyes. Hopefully those who end up staying will improve their performance next season.

4) Future Is Bright
I can name the young blood that could hopefully be given more chances next season. James Wilson, Tom Lawrence, Saidy Janko, Andreas Pereira, Will & Michael Keane. Then we have Januzaj, Jesse Lingard, Nick Powell, heck and even Wilfred Zaha still in our books. We definitely could have given alot of our youngsters more chances this season given how shitty it was. Hopefully the new manager can see freshness in them.

5) Much To Look Forward To
At the start of this season, I was really excited. Then things went really much downhill from there. Hopefully, we will see a better emotional ride for Man Utd fans in the 2014/15 season. With Louis Van Gaal purportedly set to be the new manager, I can't wait to see his brand of Total Football. Then there are all those players we've been linked with, where the more reliable ones seem to be William Cavalho, Toni Kroos, and Luke Shaw. We don't need that many players, since we're not really competing in Europe next season. Hope we offload all that deadwood.

And so, Manchester City won the title. Thank goodness. So alls well that ends well. Liverpool couldn't add to their 18 title tally, we got rid of Moyes, and the title stays in Manchester.

Can't wait for next season when we start challenging again!

GGMU!!!
