It's Only $80 Lah!

haiyoh. that was obviously a typo. so yes, it was only $80 lah...not treats blah blah.

this year cny holidays came and went like the wind siah. and the signatory auntie phrase has finally changed even though its none the better. previously was "wah ni zhang gao le"(my, you've grown taller yet again, my insignificant nephew!)!), which took them 6 good years to realise that i've stopped growing since way back when. and now its "ji shi jie hun"(when are you getting married, you poor sod?!, and i'm like, aiyah still early lah i'm still young, not so soon, yadda yadda yadda and isn't that my much older cousin who's ALSO not married? why don't you all attack him instead?

went to zouk on chu 1, wasn't fantastic, whole bloody place was a sausage factory. think must be the army boyz's only night out where they can cheong on a wednesday. music sucked not to mention. and i had a beef prosperity meal right before the clubbing. big mistake. i was out by the river hong bao merlioning my guts. luckily got my trusty gf there to help me pat my back hand me tissue, unlike some other frens whom i shan't mention names who just sit by the steps laughing at me and eewing and oohing and what i ate for dinner...nonetheless after puking felt okie liaoz. still can send gf home.

have only eaten yusheng once so far this year. i remember last year i ate so much yusheng till i got a sorethroat just from feeding on too much yusheng crackers alone...this year dunno why never got much chances to feed to that. but its okie lah no big deal, i just happen to like yusheng abit thats all.

went to weixiong's place to gamble on chu 2. left some of my gambling money behind when i left. shite. consider it tips for eating most of his cny goodies bah...

constantine was a good show. very male show ala matrix of sorts. adapted from vertigo's hellblazer comics, i thought it was quite a good guy flick that you can leave your brain behind. some people no doubt think too much into such flicks and he asks dumb questions which no one know the answers to. but i'm glad we were part of the luckily few who got to watch the ending credits cuz from the looks of people leaving the theatre i think only 5% of the audience knew there was a special surprise at the end of the credits. turns out that the taxi driver sidekick of constantine became an angel. there's probably gonna be a sequel.

time for breakfast...
