I think the last time I ate at Kinki, off Clifford Pier, I ended up spending more than $1,000.

This time around the damage is not that bad, maybe only around $300.

I think the sushi and the dons are so-so only, in the category of delicious but I've had better, yet the restaurant's been around for I think 10 years now?

Maybe because I was very high on beers.

Padang Golf Sukajadi 2019

Took a day off to play at Padang Golf Sukajadi in Batam, Indonesia.

Hit a 103, which is still my all-time lowest score.

Had two pars.

Great round with some good golf, over a very nice course, in fantastic weather.

Think I'm getting more and more consistent.

Unfortunately this is the best picture I have haha.

Valentine's Day 2019

Sent the wifey a nice bouquet of flowers and a cute, fairly large bunny.

Don't really think she appreciates it, but who cares?!

Hoping For A More HUAT 2019

Huat ah!

2018 hasn't been the best of years, but it hasn't been catastrophic either (touch wood). Here's to hoping that 2019 will be better, especially on the home front.

Not the most pleasant to watch at times.

Yet this was an away game so to have come away with a win is fantastic.

That goal assist by Pogba to Rashford was crazy good, firstly due to Pogba's perfectly weighted pass and secondly, Rashford's first touch before firing past Kasper Schmeichal.

But the main story today was the defence.

Lindelof will probably be one of the most improved players under Solsjaer, he is now a permanent fixture at CB in all games.

Ashley Young is still playing really well at this level, given his age.

Luke Shaw did very well today as well.

Only Eric Bailly still suspect for me. I still prefer Phil Jones, but it seems OGS prefers him. He makes me nervous all the time like a ticking timebomb.

DDG is constantly in beast mode as usual. Made some amazing saves today.

Anyway a win is a win and while we rode our luck at times, generally we should be very happy to have come away with a win.

We are currently in fifth place having finally moved up the table after so many games, so let's hope that City beat Arsenal tonight to keep us there!

GGMU!!!

Long Beach UDMC

Today we had family dinner, just the four of us, at Long Beach UDMC.

We had wanted to eat at Jumbo, but the queue was so long, while Long Beach and all the other seafood restaurants had no queue.

We had the 4 pax set which was not bad and filling, but very expensive.

Also got to lou yu sheng.

The service standard though has fallen drastically and I'm not sure if it is just this outlet. Also pricing was perhaps a reason why it wasn't so crowded at this time of the year (eve of CNY eve).
