Wow. What a game. I'm still buzzing.

We were totally written off. In fifth place, 14 injuries, playing a team full of kids, against an in-form Arsenal.

Enter Marcus Rashford.

What a performance from the 18yr old! Two goals and one assist!

Memphis Depay also put in a really good performance!

Now all we need is to shore up the defence!

Hopefully LVG can see that this crop of youngsters play so much better, with much more passion and eagerness than so many of the senior players.

We might have a good ending to this season after all.

Fatherhood Reflections XVII - Growing Older

The kids are growing so fast. Both are so big already. Both are so smart and we're now able to have actual, mature conversation these days. Way too fast man.

I'm growing older too. My body is slowly but surely slowing down. Things I could do I no longer can. Things I want to do I also no longer can. Things I still can do I do slower and with less intensity.

Growing old really scares me.

Giving Up On CAIA Toast

Totally giving up.

Have had hardly any time to study amidst all the increased workload, internal education and hectic schedules.

This is not a decision I take lightly, and I will still attempt the paper probably wishing for a miracle.

Perhaps some other time.

The Weekend Warriors Grow Older

Once in your mid-30s, health and fitness becomes a very big theme.

Last week yet another friend tore his ACL while playing football.

Yesterday another on ruptured a tendon in his calf muscle.

And what for?

I can tell you that it is for that yearn to keep playing for as long as we can.

Is it worth risking it all for such a major injury?

This I can't really answer.

Yet, I know exactly why they want to get their operations over and done with, heal, and come back on the field.

We are the weekend warriors.

Absolutely shit performance.

There was a time when watching ManU games was enjoyable and exciting whether we won or lost. No one EVER blamed Sir Alex Ferguson.

These days after games usually just end up feeling upset and angry.

Long time never play, even longer since I last played with colleagues.

One more serious injury and I think I will be retiring!

CNY Visiting

This has been a rather busy CNY. A lot of visiting a this year. 

I guess it is good that everyone is still meeting up.

One of our best performances of the season, and yet we come off with only a draw.

Jesse Lingard's turn and shoot was sublime, but giving Diego Costa the chance to score was terrible.

If we keep playing like this then we have hope of making the UCL spots.

I'd still like LVG out. I still think we'd play so much better without him constricting the team play. Yet in all likelihood he'll be here to stay till the season ends at least.

Wow what a dream come true to see the man perform live. He really is one brilliant stand-up comedian!

Plus they were really tight in ensuring nobody used their hand phones to take pictures or videos too.
