The Compulsive Gambler That I Am

Even can get caught watching the $10 million dollar Toto draw live at the Singapore Pools HQ at Selegie. It was such a sea of aunties and uncles over there. We probably stood out as the compulsive younglings. Haha.

Can see that in today's TODAY paper. Eugene's on my left.

Sadly I didn't win a cent though.

Sigh.

Oh, and think I'm falling sick. Crap.

Etoile FC 2 Sengkang Punggol FC 2

My first S-league match ever. Was at Jalan Besar stadium to watch Etoile FC after reading good reviews of their style of play. Instead, it was Sengkang Punggol FC that surprised me.

The S-league standard isn't that bad if you try not to compare it with the BPL. And there're alot more fans than I thought!

This season should be an interesting one.

Happy Chinese New Year 2010

Mum rolled back the years and whipped up a storm in the kitchen during Reunion's! There was steamed pomfret, fa cai with mussels and mushrooms, salted baked chicken and scallops with asparagus and shrimp. All topped up with a side of lotus root soup. One of the best reunion dinners we've had!





Good stuff!

Yesterday's first day visiting was also one of the best turn out of relatives I've ever seen! Think got over 50+ pax! Amazed that I've got that many cousins just on the Dad's side!

I read in amusement your (or supposedly Adrian's idea) latest spoof of Fiona Xie's cover, only with Adrian showing it all off instead (choke) and was tempted to make that wild guess to the last line of his poem.

It ended with something like 'And gave everyone else the finger' didn't it? :)

Love Adrian Pang and The Pupil (my vote for most entertaining english local production since The Ra Ra Show), you can tell him that for me. Oh yah, and of course, love your mag too lah hehe.
