Managed to join the boys for futsal on Saturday and I even got to bring my son along!
Now we are a lot older and we vets are fewer in attendance while the younger boys are also not as young anymore, they’re in their mid 30s.
A fresher younger bunch came to join us and they were in their late 20s and early 30s.
And then there was my son at 14 mixing it up with them.
Such a proud dad moment for me.
I was just trying to keep up by playing keeper when we won consecutive games.
Great fun and hopefully I can play with my boy for more games to come.
Guess I’ll have to postpone my retirement on the field!
Meanwhile I need new shows because my old Decat ones are gone!
