MBS Casino

Went to the Marina Bay Sands casino last Wednesday after a few drinks.

We actually walked from office all the way over there. Think its a good time to go on a weekday because its less crowded. Its huge and very nice! Clean and good...similar to the Venetian in Macau.

Ended up winning a little even after paying the $100 entrance fee! :)

'Rents just went to Egypt! So shiok.

Will be heading to Tokyo with the wifey next week! Whoooooooot! Just bought the latest Canon Ixus 130 ($499) just for the trip. 14.1megapixels! Wahseh...

Crowded Trains

Blogging on the train now. With the opening of the Circle Line, the North East Line has gotten so much more crowded.

Sometimes I wonder whether Singapore is getting too crowded. To the point where even extreme suburbia like Sengkang is filling up trains at the start of the NEL. Sigh.

There're more expats living here too. Cost of living must be rising tremendously.

Played golf over the weekend at Palm Springs Batam. Our team made up of Maple, Terence, Nick and myself shot a 12-over 84. Narrowly lost to the other team of Eugene, Youlong, Arnold and Tony, who scored an 82. Was a really fun and easy course.

My arms are aching from Body Combat last evening. Its the 3rd week in a row I've attended the class. That ought to be a record.

And then today I got a basketball game somemore.

Tired.

JP Morgan Corporate Challenge

Clocked 32:03 for the 5.6km run. Think I should be able to improve on this next year.

That places me at 1,110 out of 11,753 runners on Thursday evening.

Aching all over now haha.

Global Warming Is Killing Us

I can't even stand under the sun anymore without breaking into sweat.

Sigh.

And I'm still praying that Manchester United will still win the league somehow!

View From The Top

Its amazing to think I've been in the same office for three and a half years now. Never really appreciated the view from up here until recently. The views are magnificent. You can see most of the Singapore CBD area on a clear day.

On a usual evening, the view is very soothing from my Front Office side.

On a rainy day, we're up amongst the clouds.

And on a sunny day, things can't get any clearer than this, can it?

Beautiful eh?

Wonder how long more I'll be here?
