Our fourth consecutive home draw.
How unlucky can we get?
We've played well, we've played entertainingly, we have created 93 chances, yet scored only 3.
Every opposing goalkeeper that's been here has turned in one spectacular performance after another.
I still support Mourinho.
The title hopes have been given up upon.
Now top four is all we can aim for.
Also hoping Liverpool will not win the league.
Here's hoping for better times ahead this season.

An Uncertain Investment Climate In 2017
We are slowly but surely treading into 2017 with more uncertainty than ever. Particularly for Our little sunny island of Singapore, a lot of global events are slowly unfolding that gives me worries for the coming new year.
The Trump presidency obviously is the biggest question mark. What will he bring to the table for the rest of the world? How will the world react to his protectionist policies? Will the USA even bother about Asia and Singapore anymore? What lies ahead for the markets given the euphoric surging stock jump in the US?
The Terrex incident where China is threatening to confiscate our nine Terrexes (ICVs) that were impounded in Hong Kong. This is a chance for China to flex its muscles by bullying us into breaking off relations with Taiwan. Will we yield? I hope we won't, but how far will China lowball us if we stand our ground?
Over in Europe there are smaller events unfolding. BREXIT, the Italian referendum, the Middle-Eastern migrant crisis. Will the EU still be relevant in the coming year ahead? Will we see a breakup of the EU? Will it be the breeding ground for extremism?
Again China in the South China Sea dispute. How will this unfold in the new year? Will we see a drastic deescalation now that the US has signal a less aggressive posture in APAC? What of all the other claimants' reactions?
Climate change and global warming is also a big worry. The winters are getting colder and the summers are getting warmer. Even in Singapore it is December and the nights are 25 degrees cold. The ice sheets in both poles are melting faster and faster, sea levels are rising.
What can we do to make money out of the above?
What can we do to worry less?
Are we prepared for black swans ahead?
Stay safe. Trade safe.

Singapore Slinger X8
So this is my fifth Singapore Sling on my flight back.
Trying to get some sleep and the inflight entertainment is shit.
I'm still awake :(
Copenhagen, Denmark 2016
Here I am again!
This trip was definitely smoother since I got a direct flight both ways.
It is also feeling more routine now and I miss home at a faster rate than I normally do. Ain't easy being on the road so often :(
Had to make do with more economic accommodation. It wasn't terrible but it was in Copenhagen suburbia.
Each room at the Helleruppark Hotel is so different!
The park opposite the hotel. Fantastic ambience and top marks for serenity!
One of my all-time favourite people. Singaporean living in Denmark. She made us the most delicious dinner I've ever had in Copenhagen. No joke.
I said NO JOKE. BEST. CRISPY. ROAST. PORK. EVER. This picture doesn't do it justice one bit.

Pokemon GO Addiction IV
So I was prancing around Copenhagen suburbia minding my own business, caught an innocent-looking Pidgey that evolves into this!!!

Fatherhood Reflections XXVIII - Growing Up Too Fast
The kids are growing up way too fast.
The boy is going to Primary 1 already. He is so mature now, and one of the tallest in his new class. He tells good stories and can have proper discussions about the things he reads in story books, or anywhere else. He plays the piano really well. He's getting his Green belt in Taekwando this weekend. He can swim like a fish, from one breath to the other now. He cares about other people's feelings and he has his own emotional periods. I'm just so proud of this boy.
The girl is heading into K2. She too is quite a piece of work. Very opinionated and vocal, she's very stubborn and headstrong about what she wants to do and to achieve. She is starting to swim well, and will get her Yellow belt in Taekwando. Even her piano is better than mine now. She thinks a lot and she remembers what she hears. So proud of her too.
Loving them always, it is just a joy watching them grow so fast.
Manchester United 1 Arsenal 1
Wow, I so thought we were gonna win this one, only for Arsenal to score at the 89th minute.
Yet again we played really well and I have no complaints. I think Mourinho is the right man for the job.
I think we will be this unlucky all season. So many draws, last minute giving goals away and losing against mediocre teams on counter attacks.
Just need to hunker down and hope we get some luck soon. We will definitely improve now that we're fun to watch.

#onemarathonbyforty
So while doing a 1/2hr run at the gym in Ho Chi Minh, I decided that I want to make this one of my life goals: to complete a full marathon by the time I turn 40.
Let's see how I progress on this.
The clock starts ticking now.
3 years, 9 months and 6 days more to achieve this.
Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam 2016
Another work trip.
Things are developing fast and furious over here.
Can sort of see the incoming US$ investments pouring in with a lot more visibility on US brands. Relations between the US and Vietnam seem have improved a lot since the South China Sea dispute with China.
It also spells better business for us.
Look at all that development across the river! It's shaping up to be akin to Shanghai's 浦西 vs 浦东.

Connor McGregor
One of the best fighters in UFC right now, Conor McGregor just won the UFC Lightwieght Championship.
Amazing KO over Eddie Alvarez.
But his victory speech took the cake.
"I'd like to take the opportunity to apologize...to absolutely no one!!!"
Hahahahahaha.

Swansea 1 Manchester United 3
Was supposed to blog about this after the match. Ended up being one whole week late.
The first half was fantastic.
Pogba was MOTM for me. Watching his goal from different angles makes it all the more spectacular.
Great to see Zlatan back on the scoreboard. We will need more from where that came from.
Rooney played well by his lowered standards this season but could've been a lot better yet again.
Mata and Carrick are just sublime. Dunno how long they can last though.
Back four wasn't good enough on paper, yet good enough for this poor Swansea team. Very nice to see Phil Jones back, hope he stays injury free for awhile now.
Hopefully we will start on our winning ways after this week's international break.
Onwards and upwards!
GGMU!!!
