Aaaaaaaand with that, a swollen knee from that futsal game.
Still worth it!
Got to WFH too!
The little tidbits in my life.
We had a three hour session with colleagues!
It was so fun and we were training for an upcoming futsal competition in August.
Hopefully my knees can take it!
Will try to play for as long as I physically can!
My colleagues recently brought me to this new club called Have Fun!
Really reminded me of the old Dragonfly at St James Power Station.
A live performance almost concert level with great lineups of singers and ensemble band accompaniment.
They also took the chance to celebrate my birthday, which was nice.
Happened to be at Lantern Bar at One Fullerton.
Managed to catch this really beautiful view of MBS.
It’s so majestic.
It was so random that our office decided to bring in a Yolé vendor to dish out all you can eat yoghurt.
I literally ate till I lao sai after three cups.
Great employee welfare! Super good for staff motivation!
I won the Saxo Atlas Award way back in 2016 I think.
The Saxo Atlas Award is given to 5-8 employees globally annually to those who have gone above and beyond for the company.
Somehow found it lying in office and brought it back home.
Still brings me massive pride to have won it.
Still sticking to my trusty iPad Air2.
Despite the cracked screen, it still works really well!
Just some clear tape to stick it together!
We had hotpot at this Shi Li Fang outlet near i12 Katong.
Ate enough that they gave us this massive bear that’s taking up so much space at home now haha.
I’m not a fan of hotpot tbh, but the only one I can tolerate is still only Hai Di Lao.
Just me and my 15s cameo.
First ever appearance on ChannelNewsAsia’s Money Mind.
You can watch the whole episode here but I only appear extremely briefly at the start that’s it.
Durian season is upon us once more!
This season’s durians have been sooooooooo delicious.
Even the most expensive is now only around $25 for a box of very exclusive 猫山王老树.
But we tend to have the normal 猫山王s for $15-$18 a box or $12 红虾.
So far all the cheaper ones have been equally delicious. Many times also have buy 2 get 1 free promo even!
We even bought durians to celebrate my brother’s birthday!
Shiok!
Quite rightly obsessed with Parkway Parade’s Sakuraya sashimi spread.
It’s getting very popular, but every time we go there, the sashimi standard is really top notch.
The Thomson East Coast Line opened in late June and oh my, what an ultra convenient line this is for us!
From heading to work, now cut from 45mins to 30mins, to simply getting from home to Parkway Parade, there’s almost no need for a car to get to these places anymore.
Super loving it!
Here’s my brief cameo on the latest episode of MoneyMind on CNA.
Watch is here around the 1.28min mark.
