I wanted to showcase the size of these prawns!
HUGE!
Anyway I have to cut back on eating this from now on due to health reasons.
The little tidbits in my life.

This was the old Big Splash at East Coast Park.
Finally found some time to pay this place a visit with the kids.
Very cool with the netting for climbing to the top, which was I think 5 stories high.
Then you could take a slide down from that high!
Plus a lot of other fun stuff for kids to play.
Nice to have one more place in Singapore to bring the kids to.
Since I last blogged about my heart problems, it turns out that this is a manageable high cholesterol health issue.
It's not a good thing obviously, but its not terribly catastrophic either.
My mum has been very onz about getting me to drink oats since.
And I think I've settled on a favourite, healthy brand.
I had no intention to do anything on this day, until my boy said he was scared his friends would play tricks on him in school.
Since he was coming straight home after school today, I decided to prank him at the front door.
He wasn't too impressed.
I refused to open the door often two long knocks.
Then on the third long knock (was a little scared he really thought no one was home!), I shouted from inside that there was 'no one home!'
HAHA.
This seems to be the new name of the coffeeshop I've been going to in the last 30 years!
Better known as 24hr coffeshop!
This is my new dinner combo.
Popiah (very famous) + spaghetti Bolognese combo.
So delicious!
Along GBTB East at the top most corner after the bridge to Marina Barrage, there is a little known area that houses a helicopter landing pad.
In the old days when I was in secondary school, one could cycle there in the rustic lalang fields.
We happened to chance upon it when I was looking for a parking area that connects to the new desalination plant near GBTB East (there isn't one, it seems).
So the kids and I walked all the way to the helicopter pad.
Nice memories and the kids enjoyed that walk too.
Been a really long time since I last ate here.
Thankfully I got my little girl for company.
It was her first time and she actually enjoyed it.
Still pretty good IMHO.
With the pandemic, social distancing is all over the place.
For the boy having his football classes, parents cannot go into the school premises anymore.
So on match days we've all got to crowd around the fence just to watch our kids in action.
Sigh, a new normal.
Another year, another annual servicing routine.
My favourite VICOM outlet is the one at Changi.
My baby is 5 years old liao.
5 more years remaining.
Spent a lazy weekend in March in Sentosa.
It was the kids' school holidays.
We decided to visit Hydrodash (which we missed at the last Sentosa staycation) and chillax at Tanjong Beach Club (TBC), our favourite local beach-side club now.
Hydrodash was super fun!
Basically you just book an hour (or two) and then you have all 60mins to your group to enjoy the floating obstacle course.
You fall in, and its the sea. Simply climb back up again and carry on.
The family really enjoyed it.
Then at TBC, we had a beach-side table, and then later on we moved to the sun decks. Beers and fried food as usual. Fort at sea with the kids as usual.
Totally sun burnt and whole body was aching the next few days!
