New TV

Since we didn't get to travel to Germany, we decided to spend some of that money saved, on a cheap but huge-ass new television set.

Take a look at our 80" TV!

It's HUGE and it fits our living room wall so well!

Germany Postponed

So our Germany trip was meant to be the highlight of 2021.

It was supposed to be my only overseas trip of 2021.

It was supposed to help me maintain my travel streak of going overseas every year since I was born.

But alas, it was not meant to be.

In the end, the Omicron variant enveloped the world and news of its spread became too worrisome.

We had to make a decision one week before the trip, at the height of all the negative news of the rapid spread of Omicron.

So sad.

Well we have next year's trip to Germany to look forward to now.

Saxo Markets Singapore

After almost 16 years, we will be moving premises.

So many memories, especially with me and Eugene starting almost from day one.

I'm definitely gonna miss this place, even though the new place looks fantastic (a huge upgrade!).

Looking back, so much of the office has remained the same, the walls, flooring and furniture.

Thanks for the memories, Samsung Hub!

Family & Cousins

Dad sent some of these photos from yesteryear.

Features my dad's side of the family and my cousins, aunts and uncles.

Surf-skate Bruise

Look at the size of this bruise when the skate board collides with your ankle!

Took a week to recover!

Marine Terrace Nasi Lemak

There's this really good nasi lemak stall in Marine Terrace.

It's in the first coffeeshop.

Very delicious.

Deepavali

The Indian festival of lights, or Divali as some might call it.

It lit our condominium so beautifully!

What a sight.

Big Watermelon

There's this dish you could order in a drinks stall in Bedok Central Hawker Centre.

It is called Big Watermelon.

It costs $6 and it looks like this.

Haha.

Like ice kachang with all the rubbish canned fruits thrown in.

Still quite amazing.

ART Normality

It is so common to do ART (Antigen Rapid Test) now.

We're all used to it already.

Wonder what 2022 will bring for the pandemic?

Hopefully it will all end and we will go back to normal.

Just An Oversized Teacup

 Yup.

Dad collects these.

A lot of these.
