HFMD

The boy has gotten HFMD. It's the real thing this time after a brief scare last week.

Last week we spotted 3 visible ulcers on his tongue but little else that were signs of HFMD. The doctor said he couldn't give a confirmed diagnosis as such. The ulcers went away after 3 days and we heaved a sigh of relief thinking we escaped with a simple viral scare.

Then on Friday this week he developed high fever after an afternoon nap. He had shown no signs prior. The doctor also said he had ulcers in his throat. Saturday he developed rashes all over his body and his palms and feet. While there're no visible bumps, the rashes we're symptomatic.

Thankfully he's having a good appetite and is still active inspite of all this.
