Somehow, I can watch the 1st season of Heroes for free. Don't ask me how, but I can. And by golly am I addicted to it. Been spending the last couple of days watching 3-4 episodes a day. Its awesome! I really recommend it to everyone. The cheerleader's so damn hot!
So our golf trip came and went. I didn't play as badly as I thought I would, was decent enough. Probably need more practice and I can turn pro liaoz...hahahaha...
Going to Taiwan this weekend. Its a stag party of sorts.
Getting ROM-ed on 1st Dec. Dinner's gonna be in late 2008. If you're reading this you'll probably get an invite in June perhaps?
This quarter has been the best so far. I just officially became the record holder in the whole global office for most accounts acquired in a single quarter. Its been a good 3 months.
Lets hope next quarter will be better.

Top 10 Reasons Why Golf Sucks!
1. I'm so gonna get pwned by everyone else this Friday at SouthLink.
2. My arms hurt and feel numb at the same time after an hour in the range.
3. All the hot babes at MBGC hit better and further than I do.
4. My Pitch hits further than my 7.
5. All my shots fly right. Waaaaaaaaaay right.
6. I've almost never ever touched my Sand Wedge before.
7. I go home way past bedtime.
8. And have too heavy suppers at River Valley/Old Airport Road/Blk 85 Bak Chor Mee.
9. I've gotta wake at 6am on Friday.
10. My entire golf set costs HALF of one of Eugene's single driver. Thats including the bag.

To Fix A Fan
My computer's fan has been down for several days,
And I can't operate it long before it overheats.
The over-heated indicator blinks from on till off,
I felt it time to get my computer fixed.
I went to a PC store in Siglap centre,
I thought they could fix things right.
But when they told me the cost and wait,
I left the PC store in ghostly fright.
They wanted to charge me eighty friggin' bucks,
"Just for the consultation", he had the cheek to say.
"It would also take two days to fix it up",
By then a bomb I would have had to pay.
So I picked up my toy and left the store,
Not believing the obnoxiousness of that twit.
I then drove straight down to Sim Lim Square,
And found my favourite store to take a look at it.
The guy was closing, shutters down and all,
Nobody would fault him rejecting me.
But when he saw me distressed, running to the store,
He gladly waved me in enthusiastically.
"What's the problem, my friend?",
He asked with voice full of concern.
"My fan's broken", was my reply,
My money was there for him to earn.
"That's easy!", he said with a chuckle,
Screwdriver already digging in,
"I'll fix it up in about five minutes!"
My heart started dancing from within.
Indeed thats all the time he took,
To change that dusty faulty fan.
And how much did it cost you ask?
35 dollars, it was such a bargain!
The moral of my limerick wannabe,
Is not about who's right or wrong.
More about getting things done swiftly and efficiently,
And not having to wait too long.
More about not paying through your nose,
Just for something simple as can be,
And get straight to the heart of the matter,
So that everyone can leave happy.
I guess I'll never go back to that Siglap store again,
To fix any old PC of mine,
Instead I'd rather drive further down to town,
Where I know I'll have peace of mind.
This is where my story ends,
My dear friends please beware,
Stay away from Siglap's PC store,
Or your wallets will be bare.

Just That Quick Update
Been awhile since I last blogged.
Just dropping by to update that I haven't had much to blog about actually.
Had a great month of August work-wise. Hopefully September will be the same or better, but I'll have to start working on it if I wanna make it. Life is good for now, but I really can't see 3 months ahead to save my life.
Our HDB 1st appointment is on the 28th of the month, so we've gotta book our ROM date soon. Will probably be having a quiet little ROM in a hotel suite somewhere with only both our families. Chinese wedding will have to wait till late next year perhaps.
I guess that's about it for now.
Oh and I finally get to own a BlackBerry - for now. Haha.
